Police Reports: Man Beats Younger Sister and Piggly Wiggly Theft

This is a list of the most interesting police reports from last week.

Threats and Disorderly Conduct

Monday, Jan. 16 at 4:49 p.m.
Police were called to the N68W24000 block of Stonegate Court Monday after a 42-year-old man living in Sussex’s Stonegate apartments was acting inappropriately. According to the report, the man was making threats to physically harm neighbors and other residents in the area. A neighbor called police and the man was issued a citation for disorderly conduct.

Battery

Wednesday, Jan. 18 at 8:24 p.m.
A 20-year-old Sussex man was arrested for battery against his 15-year-old sister Wednesday night on the W245N6000 block of Maris Drive. The brother and sister got into a physical altercation, yet the exact reason for the fight is unclear in the report. The man was arrested, and while the teenage sister had some marks around her eye, she wasn’t transported to a hospital.

Retail Theft

Saturday, Jan. 21 at 3:25 p.m.
Police were called to on Main Street Saturday after employees caught a man on camera stealing steaks and roasts from the meat department. According to the report, the man would fill his basket with the meat, walk into another aisle and conceal the items. Police are still following up on leads as to who the man is, but it’s estimated he stole upwards of $100 of meat.

Domestic Abuse

Saturday, Jan. 21 at 5:08 p.m.
Police pulled over a car on the corner of Highway 74 and Lisbon Road Saturday, and according to the report, arrested a 36-year-old Butler woman for domestic abuse and battery. Apparently, she was beating on her 35-year-old male passenger from Butler while driving her vehicle.

Theft of Drugs

Saturday, Jan. 21 at 8: 31 p.m.
A 36-year-old Sussex man called police to his home on the W245N6000 block of Bowling Green Street to report his hydrocodone pills were missing from his residence. The situation is currently being investigated. However, it should be noted the man has been to small claims court twice since 2006 to dispute payment issues with both Aurora Advanced Healthcare Inc. and Community Memorial Hospital.

Warrant/Arrest

Saturday, Jan. 21 at 9:18 p.m.
Sussex police helped the City of Waukesha arrest a 22-year-old Waukesha man Saturday because he had a warrant out for his arrest and worked at Quad/Graphics. Police went over to the business while the man was working and picked the criminal up. The warrant is through the Greenfield Police Department and the man is currently in custody for battery.
