Police Reports: Domestic Disturbances and Multiple Car Entries

This is a look at last week's most interesting police reports throughout Sussex.

Domestic Disturbance
Monday, Oct. 3 at 11:06 a.m.
Officers responded to a phone call at in the W24000 block of Stonegate Court because someone reported a domestic disturbance. The couple at the apartment got into a verbal and physical fight. A 32-year-old man was pushing a woman around, according to the police report. No one needed medical attention. The man was taken into custody on one count of domestic violence. He posted the $150 cash bail and was released.

Domestic Disturbance
Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 2:02 a.m.
Police were called to to a home in the W24000 block of Ivy Avenue and arrested a 25-year-old woman for domestic violence and disorderly conduct. The woman was intoxicated and got into a physical altercation with her ex-boyfriend, who called the police. The woman resisted arrest and was taken into custody.

Auto Entry
Thursday, Oct. 6 at 6:23 a.m.
Police responded to a home in the N7300 block of Old Oak Road to find a car had been entered and some change taken from the vehicle. They later discovered that several vehicles at several different residences were entered between the evening of Oct. 5 and the morning of Oct. 6. The vehicles weren’t damaged and the only thing missing was a total of $13 worth of change from the cars. All of the vehicles were left unlocked overnight by the owners.

Burglary
Friday, Oct. 7 at 8:54 p.m.
Officers were called to a residence in the W23000 block of Clover Drive after a resident discovered his apartment was robbed. He returned home to find the key to his apartment no longer worked properly, the deadbolt was unlocked and someone had forced himself through the screen on a first floor window. The robber stole a phone, but police still have no suspects.

EMS
Sunday, Oct. 9 at 2:45 a.m.
Emergency medical crews were called to Tailgators Pub at N74W23246 Main St. after an intoxicated woman insisted that she was poisoned. After she vomited, EMS staff advised the woman to go to a hospital, but she refused to go.
