Police Reports: Armed Robbery at Walgreens for Pills

This is a look at last week's most interesting police reports throughout Sussex.

Disturbance

Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 10:58 a.m.
Police were called to W246N6545 Pewaukee Rd. to find an uncontrollable juvenile. The mother indicated that her son was yelling and screaming, and even smashed out a window at the front of the house. The child was referred to the Department of Social Services.

Armed Robbery

Thursday, Sept. 29 at 9:38 p.m.
An unidentified male robbed the pharmacy at on Main St. by slipping the pharmacist a note and implying he had a gun. The person behind the counter complied with the demands and gave the man the painkillers. The robber fled the store, and police are still following up on leads. 

Theft

Friday, Sept. 30 at 12:21 a.m.
Police stopped a 44-year-old male a little after midnight for driving around Main St. without his lights on. Police then took him into custody after discovering he’d stolen two $7 batteries from the on Main St.

Domestic in Progress

Saturday, Oct. 1 at 12:55 p.m.
Police were called to N64W24206 Main St. after getting a call about a verbal altercation. It turns out it was a brother and sister who were fighting, not a couple. The 19-year-old brother became upset and starting physically damaging the apartment. He fled the scene, but was eventually referred to the District Attorney’s office for disorderly conduct. He has been convicted of disorderly conduct before in April of 2010.
