Obituary: Rosalinda Smith

May 15, 1939 - April 29, 2012

Our Loving Mother Rosalinda Martinez-Ortiz Smith, to whom we loved and adored, has passed from this world of pain and suffering (suffering that she endured for many years) into the next world, to walk with our Lord Jesus.

We are going to miss our mother so much, and as we know, all that knew her will also miss her. Although she suffered many years with the pain in her body and the inability to walk very much, she never gave up and always kept a smile on her face.

Our mother also felt it important to keep her family together at all cost even through hard times and disagreements. We have so much to say to her and will again soon. Although we are happy knowing her fate is with our Lord and other family members, we are just so sad that we will not see her in this life any longer. God bless you and we love you very much Mother, Grandma, Great Grandma, Aunt, Sister and Friend.

Our Mom's services will be at Funeral and Cremation Services, W250 N6505 Hwy 164, Sussex, WI 53089.

It will be for only one day, this Saturday, from noon to 4 p.m., Cinco de Mayo, with a service at 2 p.m.

Although we are happy knowing her fate is with our Lord and other family members, we are just so sad that we will not see her in this life any longer. 

While we would all love you to share our last moments with our mother, we also understand that the distance may be a problem for many, and we fully understand if you are unable to attend. However, so we can better accomodate the facilities where Rosita will be, please let us know if you will be coming.

We are also planning a future date (to be announced) for our moms burial with our father at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at 20953 W Hoff Rd. Elmwood, IL 60421. Thank you all for caring and for all your well wishes.
