Joan L. "Joanie" Schmidt (nee Mellies) of Hartford, formerly of Sussex, passed away on Feb. 12, at 76-years-old.
Beloved wife of Elten. Loving mother of Michael (Sue), Susan (Robert) Blau and Sandra (John) Scaffidi. Proud grammy of Maria, Michelle (Ryan) Boers, David, Bobby, Christopher and Dan. Furthur survived by other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. . Visitation will be Wednesday at 4 p.m. until time of the service. Private burial will be at Graceland Cemetery.
