Jerome B. “Joe” Jessen passed away on August 19 at 80-years-old.
Left to cherish his life long memory are his wife of 56 years, Helen (nee Schumacher) and his children; Jim (Sue) Jessen and Janet Jessen-Rappl (Joe Rappl). Loving grandfather of Andrea, Melissa and Christopher Jessen; Cole and Amber Rappl. Brother of John (Georgia) Jessen. Step-brother of Marvin (Mary) Koch. Brother-in-law of Hedwig Jessen. Further survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents; George and Pelagia Jessen, step-mother Mary “Mae” Jessen, brother and best friend Leonard Jessen, brothers Bill, Herb, Clem, Carl and sisters Dorothy Baerlin Fischer, Madeline Schafer and Harriet Delworth.
Family will receive relatives and friends at Schmidt & Bartelt funeral home on Saturday, August 25 from 1 p.m. until time of memorial service at 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Waukesha Memorial Hospital Foundation or to Angel’s Grace Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
