Oscar Contest

The Academy Awards are just around the corner. From February 13th-26th, stop by the library to fill out an Oscar ballot with your picks for Best Picture, Director, Actor, Actress, Supporting Actor, and Supporting Actress. Successfully predict the Oscar winners and be entered into a raffle for a movie prize. We will announce the winner on Monday February 27th.

New Book Alerts

Find out what's happening in Sussexwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

New Book Alerts is a free online service that showcases the newest titles purchased by PHPL. You can select to receive alerts via email and/or RSS feeds. If you see a new title that you are interested in, just click "check catalog" to place a hold on the item right away. This service is available through our homepage, under “Books and Media.”

Book Discussions

Get together with other kids in your age group and talk about what you think of the books we read. Books for the discussion are provided by the Friends of the Library and will be yours to keep if you attend the discussion

Knitting Club

Knitters age 7 and up, and those who have experience, meet with other student knitters at the library 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Jan.- April. No registration required.
