PHOTOS: Sussex's Ex-Packer Receives Surprise Welcome After Honor Flight
Ken Kranz received a surprise party at Brandon Oaks in Sussex after returning home from the latest Stars & Stripes Honor Flight. He and seven other veterans were honored.
Sussex's ex-Packer player Ken Kranz and his daughter Kathy Rink were treated to a surprise "Welcome Home" party on Sunday afternoon after returning from the World War II Stars & Stripes Honor Flight to Washington D.C.
Kranz, , was joined by seven other Brandon Oaks veterans and more than 60 area residents and family for a special "Thank You Veterans" party. Between the patriotic songs, food and excellent weather, the Brandon Oaks vets gathered on Sycamore Circle to celebrate.
The 88-year-old ex-Packer player was joined by many members of his family at the surprise celebration.
