Recent Hamilton Grad Volunteers Her Time Making the Library a Fun Place for Kids

This Week's Whiz Kid
Names: Chelsea Fischer
School: 2011 graduate of Hamilton High School
Accomplishments: Chelsea has been volunteering at the in Sussex for more than six years. This summer she continues to serve as a leader of the “Just Teens,” the Teen Advisory Board of the library, where she is organizing games, crafts and volunteers for the at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Chelsea also volunteers at the Kid’s Summer Reading Desk and as a teen helper in the summer reading program, where she builds relationships with the youngsters.
Key to Awesomeness: Chelsea also participates in the adult reading program, where participants read books of their choosing and then write a neat fact about that book which can be posted around the library.
She is a member of National Honor Society, and plans to attend UW-LaCrosse to study Political Science with an emphasis in Pre-Law in the fall.
