Additional Special Education Support Being Hired for Maple Avenue

The hiring decision was due to significant needs of new enrolled students.

The Hamilton School District will hire a half-time paraprofessional to provide additional special education support at Maple Avenue Elementary.

“The additional support was unanticipated and is necessary due to the significant needs of new students who have enrolled at Maple Avenue,” wrote Human Resources Director John Roubik in a memo to the School Board.

The position will cost $2,700 for the rest of the 2012-13 school year, according to the board meeting highlights on the district website.
