Photo Gallery: Hamilton Tops Marquette, Remains Unbeaten

Thrilling Friday-night contest came down to the end before Sussex prevailed, 19-17.

Hamilton built a 13-0 lead then held on to defeat Marquette 19-17 on Friday night in high school football. It's the first victory ever for the Chargers over Marquette, according to the Sussex Sun.

The Chargers (3-0, 1-0 Greater Metro Conference) got 101 yards rushing and two touchdowns from Nick Patterson, according to stats posted on WisSports.net.

It was 13-0 late in the first half before Marquette kicked a field goal. The Hilltoppers pulled within 19-17 with just over 2 minutes left in the game, then got the ball back for one last surge, which came up short.
