Your Chance to Ask Legislative Candidates About Key State Issues

The Wisconsin Legislature will tackle some key issues in 2013, and Patch is asking our readers to pose some questions for the candidates who are running in the 98th Assembly District primary election next month.

Don't look now, but there's another election just around the corner.

Five candidates are running in the special Republican primary election for the 98th Assembly District on Feb. 19. Since no Democrats have filed for the race, the winner of the primary is all but certain to be elected to office in a special general election in April. Sussex is part of the 98th District.

The candidates are:

  • Matt Morzy
  • Adam Neylon
  • Todd Greenwald
  • Jeanne Tarantino
  • Ed Baumann

Patch will be there every step of the way as we cover the race, but this time around, we are going to have our readers get more involved in our coverage of the legislative campaign. And we're starting by asking you to help us formulate questions for the candidates.

Patch will soon contact the candidates to get biographical information as well as their views on the issues facing Wisconsin. But we don't want to be the only ones posing the questions; we want to hear what's on your mind as well.

If you have a question you would like to ask one or all of the candidates, post it in the comments section below this article or on the Sussex Patch Facebook page. We'll do our best to include your question as part of our coverage of this key race.

Why do they not respect the 2A of the federal Constitution and Article 1, Section 25 of the Wisconsin Constitution?
