Energy Assistance

The Waukesha County Energy Assistance will be at Sussex Village Hall on Friday, Oct. 12.

Those in need of energy assistance can apply at that time. Assistance will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

For information on the program, call (262) 549-9666 ext. 12 or 13.

What's wrong with the Water?

Don't be alarmed when your water seems to be discolored at the end of the month.

It's probably due to the village flushing hydrants. Mark your calendars from Tuesday, Oct. 23 to Thursday, Oct. 25 for this exciting event.

If your water seems funky, run the cold water for a few minutes to clear the system.

The best part of this is that you should avoid washing with clothes during these days.
