Legal Advice for Seniors and Families at Library

Afternoon and evening sessions offered Jan. 20.

Two free legal seminars, one geared toward issues facing seniors and the other geared toward issues facing families, are being sponsored on Jan. 20 by the Friends of the Pauline Haas Library at N64W23820 Main St., just west of Village Hall.

Each seminar will run roughly an hour and each will be conducted in the Quad/Graphics Room.

The 2 p.m. seminar will discuss senior legal issues including planning for nursing home care, choosing a health care agent, planning bequests for minor children and other topics, according to the Friends organization.

The 7 p.m. seminar will discuss family legal issues including the impact of divorce on estate planning, organizing important health care documents, planning bequests for minor children and other topics.

Depending on the topic being discussed, the sessions will feature Sussex attorney Dan RieglemanΒ or Brookfield attorney Roman Chojnacki. No registration is required. For more information, call 262-246-5180.
