Candidates to Make Their Case to Voters at Forum

Chamber of commerce event set for March 30 at Hamilton Arts Center.

As the April 5 election nears, Sussex voters will have a chance to take get an up-close look at the candidates running for Village Board at a forum set for March 30.

Sussex Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the candidates forum from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Hamilton Fine Arts Center at , W220N6151 Town Line Rd.

“This is an opportunity to have all the candidates in one place and hear their ideas for the future of Sussex and Lisbon.  It’s a one-stop shop,” said Chamber Executive Director Kathryn Wagner.

The forum will provide candidates with the chance to talk about their qualifications and why they are running for office.

“There will be an opportunity for each candidate to speak and answer predetermined questions.  Afterwards, there will be a meet-and-greet reception,” said Wagner.

Candidates invited to the event include:

Sussex village president candidates: Greg Goetz and Gabe Kolesari.

Sussex village trustee candidates: Jim Batzko, Tim Dietrich, Mike Knapp and

Jason Wegner.

Lisbon town chairman candidate: Matt Gehrke.

Lisbon town supervisor candidates: Daniel Heier and Joe Osterman.
