Woman Visits Friend in Jail, Stays There Herself

Colgate woman is arrested with pills in her purse after a deputy notices an outstanding warrant in Sussex while she's visiting a friend in jail.

A Colgate woman with a warrant out for her arrest in Sussex is learning the hard way that she should take drugs out of her purse before visiting someone in Waukesha County Jail.

Danielle M. Bladorn, 18, was charged in Monday with two counts of possession of narcotic drugs, and possession of a controlled substance on or near certain places. If convicted, she faces up to seven years in prison and $20,000 in fines.

On Saturday, Bladorn went to visit someone in jail when a sheriff’s deputy noticed she had an outstanding warrant for her arrest in Sussex for an ordinance violation. The deputy told her she would need to post bail immediately or she would be arrested.

Bladorn began to cry and called someone to make arrangements when the deputy heard her say:

“I’m going to get in trouble for those pills I forgot were in my purse.”

She was then placed under arrest and the deputy found three Oxycodone pills and a morphine pill in her purse.

Bladorn told the deputy she forgot the pills were in her purse and she was only holding them for a friend.

She’s currently being held in jail on $1,000 cash bond.
