Teenage Ax Murder Suspect Back in Court Monday

Wilson, 17, will appear in Waukesha County Circuit Court Monday to determine if he's competent enough to proceed.

A Fox Point teen charged with killing his grandfather with an ax will be in court Monday to determine if his case is ready to proceed.

Richard Wilson, 17, was and his case delayed due to concerns about his mental health. Wilson suffers from schizophrenia and was deemed incompetent by Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge Bill Domina.

If his health has improved Domina could allow the case to proceed again.

Wilson is facing first-degree murder charges after he allegedly while his family was on his town of Merton property for Mother’s Day celebrations.

Wilson killed Siepmann with an ax inside a shed on the property because he was trying to end a “curse” of schizophrenia.

Wilson has been receiving treatment at the Mendota Mental Health Facility. He’s being held in custody on $2 million cash bail.
