Teen Pleads No Contest to Groping Sussex Girl

Koepke is currently being held at the Kettle Moraine Correctional Institution, and will have a sentencing hearing Oct. 31.

An 18-year-old Sussex teen pleaded no contest to second-degree sexual assault of an underage girl late in August.

Koepke was charged with this most recent offense in February, after a woman reported him for inappropriately touching her daughter's friend. The girl was 12 or 13 years old when the incident occurred.

Koepke was also charged in Washington County Circuit Court in July 2012 with four felony charges including first degree sex assault of a child under 13 years old, exposing genitals to a child and causing a child under 13 years old to view or listen to a sexual activity.

Koepke was found guilty of one count of causing a child under 13 to view or listen to sexual activity and one count of incest in November 2012 in Washington County Circuit Court.

Even though the presentence report recommended no jail time, the judge sentenced Koepke to confinement for "the remainder of his teen years,"

Koepke is currently being held at the Kettle Moraine Correctional Institution, and will have a sentencing hearing Oct. 31.
