Sussex Man Charged For Ignoring Restraining Order
Suspect, 70, told police he doesn't care about the order and will continue to contact the woman who had it issued against him.
A Sussex man is facing charges after he refused to honor a temporary restraining order against a Hartland woman.
According to the criminal complaint, on May 2, Roger Scholl, 70, contacted the woman and left her a voicemail despite the fact she had gotten a temporary restraining order against him. In the message, which she played for investigators, Scholl said he didn’t care about the order and would continue to contact her.
After police contacted him, Scholl again admitted to contacting the woman and told police he didn’t care about the order.
