On June 24, Waueksha County sheriff’s deputies were called to Sussex Bowl after a drunken Nelessen began to get loud and start fights with people at the bar before being told to leave. One witness said Nelessen went up to a motorcycle owned by the owner of Sussex Liquor and began to rev the engine until the man told him to stop.

Nelessen then got mad and tossed a full glass of beer in the man’s face.

While another man was trying to get Nelessen out of the bar area, Nelessen pushed him to the ground, causing the man to scrape his knee.

Nelessen then began to walk away northbound on Pewaukee Road and was later apprehended by deputies near an apartment complex. Nelessen denied anything happened at Sussex Bowl, but he was positively identified by witnesses at the bar.

He will make his initial appearance in court Oct. 8.
