Hamilton High School Girls Soccer Program

Hamilton High School Girls Soccer Program's 4th Annual Cancer Awareness Night

One of the mantras of the girls soccer program at Hamilton High School is make a difference in our community.  Coach Tom Konkol has led this effort to make sure his players appreciate the support that they are able to enjoy from the entire Sussex community.

In February, the players gathered together and put meals together to help feed the homeless.  Players donated food and their time to help make this a success, putting together 100 meals for those less fortunate.

This Friday, May 3rd, will be the 4th annual Cancer Awareness night in support of the Susan G. Komen Foundation’s fight of breast cancer.  The team sold T-Shirts with the phrase, “Fight like a girl” in the familiar pink that is now associated with the battle against breast cancer.  Once again the girls outpaced the previous year in raising $751.31 that they will donate to the foundation.   Hamilton will play Oak Creek in the game on Friday, beginning at 7pm @ Hamilton.  The players and their Super Fans will be wearing the t-shirts.
