“Flee Sexual Immorality…” (1 Cor. 6:18) The Scourge of Pornography in the Church and Society  This study will address the topic of pornography: its devastating effect upon the culture and the faith and lives of Christians who are ensnared by it, and what Christians are called to for help and victory in the struggle against sexual sin. “The Heavens Declare the Glory of God…” (Psalm 19:1) The Science of Intelligent Design and Defending the Doctrine of Creation  This study will address the topic of Christian apologetics (defending the faith through science and reason) by examining some of the latest research by secular scientists on the topic of the “Intelligent Design” of the universe.  How should Christians rightly make use of such research in confessing and defending the Christian faith? “If Anyone Will Not Work, Neither Shall He Eat…” (2 Thess. 3:10)Christian Charity and the Scriptural Teaching on Work This study will examine Christ’s call to care for the poor and the Apostolic injunction “If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat” (2 Thess. 3:10).  How is the Church to understand and practice mercy in caring for the temporal needs of society’s needy and downtrodden? March 9, 5:00 p.m.
