Justin Sexton Memorial Benefit

We are
writing you on behalf of Tina Sexton, a single mother who lost her only child unexpectedly
at the young age of 11 from a blood clot which is extremely rare in children. Tina
was unable to hold a full time job, due to her sons hip issues. She was his
sole provider, and received little to no support to help her.

Justin
Sexton was born June 28th, 2002. At the age of 4 Justin was
diagnosed with Perthes Disease. He had surgery on his left hip in 2006 when he
was 4 years old. He then started having issues with his right hip and had
surgery in 2012 when he was 10 due to a band of tissue over his labrum.  He  then
had his third and final surgery in 2013 at the age of 11. This procedure was
the biggest of them all. Justin had a pelvic Osteotomy due to signs of hip dysplasia
and learning that he  had a shallow
socket. Justin had many struggles as far as his hips, but he was otherwise a
healthy boy.

Justin was
a wonderful and beautiful soul and a joy to be around. He loved playing
outside, and he loved to swim. Many would call him a fish! He also enjoyed cooking
and playing video games, but his main passion and love were his Legos. His
creativity and imagination would be an inspiration to anyone. Justin was a
smart, happy, healthy loving and caring boy. He brought smiles to everyone he
passed. Justin was always helping someone else and had a huge heart. Due to him
having such a loving and caring personality, his mother (Tina) decided to help him
continue to help others by donating his eyes. By doing so, Justin’s gift  was able to give the gift of sight to two
people, a man and a woman.
