Hamilton Receives Largest Scholarship Donation in Its History

Marjorie Wrezic was deeply touched by the education her grandchildren received in the school district, and showed her gratitude by paying it forward to future generations.

When we live our lives in the present, it's difficult to estimate the impact our actions can make on the future. For teachers in the Hamilton School District, their daily commitment to students was generously repaid Thursday.

It was the largest donation of its kind in the history of the school district.

Marjorie Wrezic was deeply touched by the enthusiasm and quality education her granddaughters received while attending the school district. To show her gratitude, she's pledged to start the Marjorie Wrezic Scholarship Foundation, which will award scholarships to deserving students annually.

The scholarships will be $4,000 and can be renewed the following year, and the foundation will continue to fund 50 of these scholarships into the future.
