New Pizza Place to Open in May

Owner of the new restaurant replacing Pepino's said he's waiting on some equipment before he can open.

The developer of Sussex’s newest pizza restaurant said the establishment will open sometime in May.

Marvin King, owner of Marcileno’s Pizzeria & Grill, N64W24370 Main St., said the restaurant will open in the next several weeks in the site of the former Pepino’s Pizza.

“Right now we’re just waiting on the equipment,” King said. “If anything it will definitely be open by June 1.”

King, who previously owned Papa King’s Restaurant in the Grandville area of Milwaukee, said the transition at the new restaurant has gone smoothly and a few items are still needed before they can open.

Will you be offering gluten-free pizza? (Many restaurants claim to have gluten-free menu options, which amounts to a salad or a ketchup packet, the rest of the menu is off limits.) Everyone likes to go out for pizza with friends, it would be nice if a local pizza place could accomodate the gluten-intolerant. If you haven't thought of it, please consider, I'd love to be able to order delivery pizza again.

Not more pizza, please! Can't someone open a restaurant that is interesting and creative?

YUK! Maronni baloney! Overpriced low quality. But hey if you want gluten free. The only thing there that is full, is the owner. Full of himself.
