Out With Summerfest, In With Lions Daze

We're all working for the weekend, but in Sussex this weekend is no ordinary weekend. This week, residents will refer to those three days as Lions Daze. 

Sussex's annual bash opens at 6 p.m. Friday in Village Park, and the party will continue Saturday and Sunday. And remember, the fireworks show opens at dusk on Friday. The Sweet Tarts, Cherry Pie and Listen Up headline the music lineup throughout the weekend. 

This year, organizers added a bags (bag toss, cornhole) tournament to the schedule of events.There may still be time to get a team in the lineup.
