ReplyAs a Texan, I have been repeatedly embarrassed by the actions of Louie Gohmert and Ted Cruz in Washington. And after giving the country George W. Bush, I worry that the rest of the country might think we are ALL inbreds instead of just those few idiots. Thank you Ms. Tremblay for reminding me that inbreeding is not restricted to a few people in Texas.

Liberal math is a little more advanced than that of the "anti-education" party. Walker's support among all demographics; republicans, democrats, and independents has plummeted since he took office. Those who value education understand that Walker will not receive nearly as many votes in the recall election as he did in the last election.

ReplyI looked at thousands of the signatures posted online (just a small, random sampling of the million-plus on file), and saw no obvious anomalies, no duplicates, no "Mickey Mouses." Personally, I'm confident that an objective review will find an overwhelming majority of the signatures to be valid. If there is any cheating with respect to the recalls, it will no doubt be done by Republicans. That's how they operate and in fact, cheating is seemingly part of the DNA of the the so-called "family values" Party.

ReplyWalker seems to be having a bout of paranoia - he thinks "big labor bosses" are out to get him. It's not the million-plus working-class Wisconsinites who signed his recall petitions who want him out... it's "big labor bosses."
Well, after slashing the budget for mental health services, if Walker does break down and needs some care, make sure he gets in the back of the line like everyone else.

ReplyReading through the comments by former gov. Thompson and other Republicans, it is striking to me how divisive those people are. "Black and blue?" Really? Against working-class Wisconsinites? With those types of attitudes, it's no wonder voters are fed up with them.
The other thing that occurs to me is that if pro-Walker people are estimating the turnout at 2,500-3,000, you can bet the actual number doesn't exceed 700.
