liberal chicken? way to embarrass yourself here, sir. I did nothing. You're the one looking ridiculous now for calling me out on something I can't control. I too wish this could change, but we've all figured out how to comment anyway.

Ha. School aren't going to 'reward' teachers for doing good. You honestly think that would happen? No. And these teachers know it. They know that the salary they are told they'll be making when they first are hired is the same salary they will make the rest of their time employed, regardless of seniority or higher education received. And I can GUARANTEE you, classes and clubs are NOT being added. At Hamilton, which isn't that financially off-key right now, classes are being told they can't run, clubs are being cut, and class sizes are bigger than I've ever seen them. I can only imagine how school that are struggling worse than our district our doing.

I shouldn't teach English? this guy used the wrong form of 'whether'. pretty sure i went to Hamilton and got a great education. Many teachers are contemplating leaving the district, and state, to get jobs elsewhere so their families don't suffer. the good teachers. The ones with post-master's education and experience.

integrity and transparency? no. and seriously, is the only thing you all care about is money? everyone keeps talking about how Act 10 is fiscally responsible. sure, it'll save the school some money and your precious tax dollars. but when your children's education suffers because the good teachers no longer teach and class sizes are above 30 some kids per class, you'll be wishing it never happened. Honestly, stop being so dang selfish and only caring about short term benefits.

I didn't 'get caught' doing anything. I'll admit to anyone that I supported her, and basically everyone that knows me knows I did. I'm not trying to sweep anything under a rug. I'm just honestly confused as to why this banter is continuing after the fact of the election. At this point you're just talking to hear yourself talk, because what's coming out of your mouth can have no impact on the future. and Luke, these 'facts' you want to go back over, aren't real facts. do i want to go over your opinions again? no. you've made your point very clear, and i respect it as an opinion.

If I was thrown out of an office I deserved I'd ask why people were doing this as well! And not the constituents-though I believe your reasoning is ridiculous, you've made it very clear why you voted her out (even pointlessly after the election is over). She wants to know why Mr. Schneider-as opposed to anyone else-wanted this position. What did she do while on the board to deserve to be kicked off? What will he be bringing to the school board? As Mark Hoppus said above-he can't even vote 95% of the time because of his brother. Seems like he'll be doing a lot of good. At least she fessed up when she made a mistake. She could have taken the lie farther, pretended it wasn't her and spiraled the whole things out of control. But of course she wouldn't do that. She fessed up and admitted her wrongdoing. A commendable action when you know your livlihood is on the line. I'm not doing any smearing. The elections over and I said nothing bad against the man. But simply-good luck. Karma hurts sometimes. Her family has accepted it-do you see them campaigning any more? This letter is proof that she accepts what happened. And yes, you have temporarily 'ruined' the Kristensen family. Luckily they're strong and will get up keep moving forward to do something good for the world.

ReplyDo you all realize that the election is over? If you still seriously need to sit behind your computers and continue to tear apart a woman over something that can no longer change, take a look at your lives. Does constantly beating down other people with no cause in sight make you feel better about yourself? Does this help you sleep at night? Does it make a positive influence on the community? Are you doing anything to change anything? No. You're simply sitting in a bath of filth and rolling around in it. Good luck keeping your heads above water with Schneider on school board now. My money's on you all regretting this vote a few years down the line. But until then, let this go. It's over. The elections happened. Lynn and her family has accepted this so everyone else should as well. Let's all let the Kristensen's get back to their normal lives, and go find some other innocent person's life to ruin.

it's really a shame you'll be so disappointed when recall votes are counted and Walker will be out forever. You're looking at Waukesha county as a representation of how Wisconsin is going to vote? Just because one entirely conservative community votes out one liberal politician means nothing. The majority of Wisconsin's population is in Milwaukee and Madison-two very liberal communities. If I were you I'd hold your tongue till June and see how this goes. Elections in Waukesha county in no way represent an entire state of people.
