Habeneros is in that area as well. Getting a bit far west for 'North Shore' though...

A few days ago you expressed the "opinion" that the administration was disrespecting teachers and forcing them out. Does that make you one of the 'deadenders'?

Not sure why you are directing that at me, Robert. Did I make the statement that you are quoting?
I can only agree to a point with what you are saying. Certainly people have differing talents and interests, but people really do need to achieve a level of proficiency in a variety of things in order to be a productive member of society. To use your examples, I think that there is a problem if someone excels at creativity, but cannot do basic maths or vice versa.

Scott:
Please explain how Steve ® was personally attacking Lika. The worst thing that I saw said to her was that he referred to you as 'her buddy'. I also don't see where anyone has threatened you here. Personally, I think that falsely accusing people of threatening someone crosses a line. If you are going to make such charges, you should be able to back them up.
When one 'disagrees in good spirit', they don't claim the other to be telling lies without providing anything to support the charge. You have been asked several times to provide such evidence, as many posters provided links to back up their claims that seem to show yours to be less than true. Yet despite all the evidence to the contrary, you continue to claim that everything you have posted is the 'honest to G-d truth'. That is not a disagreement in good spirit.

Scott:
If the Wisconsin voucher program is such a violation of church and state, why have courts ruled the program to be constitutional? The FACT is that there really is no constitutional violation.
If is also a FACT that the voucher program does not violate the Wisconsin Constitution's mandate for the establishment of a public school systems.

ReplyHow can this be? Keith Schmitz assured us that Shorewood's teachers were being abused, disrespected and forced out of their positions because of Act 10...

Ed:
The issue here isn't that Scott is complaining about being cheated by his employer. He's attempting to project his misfortune across all voucher schools--trying to make the exception sound like the rule.
Any employer can go belly up and leave their employees unpaid and without delivering promised benefits. Even employers that get government funding or assistance (Solyndra). Yes, it is not a good position to be in, but rather than focus on his former employer, he goes on a crusade to eliminate vouchers altogether.
I would think that this collection of embellishments and outright lies aren't going to appear in a favorable light should to the people that are in a position to hire him for another teaching job.

Why don't they just give the position to the guy that lost the election a month or so ago?
