ReplyPer the District's website, the new Superintendent will be at Tuesday's monthly school board meeting. Great news! It also appears the board will be revisiting next year's schedule. With Boechler resigning, next step for the Board and new Super is to take a close look at what's going on in the Distric Office. Low morale and high staff turnover. Both Boechler and the Business Manager are to blame. Both have treated staff extremely unprofessionally and poorly. Without any close monitoring of expenses by the Board, it appears the fox has been guarding the hen house.

Recall "threat" ( as you call it) only been around less than a month. Do you really think Dan was able to apply, interview, accept and then inform Boeachler of his decision last week in the three weeks time? Get real. Stop trying to make the recall the culprit ( unless your taking lessons from the "video" blaming for Benghazi ).

ReplySo here's what happened with the Board this week ( wish Board be one to communicate this or ANYTHING) :
Laid off/time reduced teacher appeals to Board.
Step One: presentations for dismissal/reduction by Administration=Boechler
Presentations against by teacher involved, other teachers, friends
During, Boechler caught in many lies and misleading statements by the Board, led by Alice Lawton. For example, Boechler, when orig presenting a specific teacher time reductions to board, stated it was at the teacher's request. When Alice asked the teacher if she had been approached, or had approached Boechler re: reduced time request, teacher categorically denied being consulted EVER..... Big uproar !Step Two: board announces many layoffs/ reductions recinded. Including all arts reducations. Huge slap in Superintendent's face!!
Basically, to rescind, the board had to informally agree to revise next years schedule/STEM. Tho no official announcement yet, rescinding is only justification to keep the teachers and the arts . Now all needed is board to take official action
Lets hope I'm right! Next step is to buy out Boechler to stem ( pun intended) her continuing poisoning /mistreatment teachers and staff

Why? in three words: Weak School Board.
BTW, job switching isn't a quick process. I'd bet Dan had enough of being mistreated by Boechler (as all teachers and staff are) and started his job search months ago, perhaps before Rachael resigned.
So how many of the Admin team and their staff have left under the Boechler reign? More than "a few". Wonder why? Hmmmmmmm
