Cox Captures Classic 8-Greater Metro Diving Championship

2009 state champion leads Falls-Hamilton-Germantown team at Waukesha South

Nathan Cox finished first in one-meter diving to lead Menomonee Falls-Hamilton-Germantown in the Classic 8-Greater Metro Conference swimming and diving championships Saturday afternoon at Waukesha South High School. Overall, the Falls co-op finished sixth in the conference meet with a score of 175. Arrowhead finished first with 520, well ahead of Waukesha South-Catholic Memorial, which had 444. Cox finished with a score of 420.75. Cox, who won the state diving title as a sophomore and finished second last season, holds the conference record for diving, getting a score of 488.35 in 2010.  Teammate Ryan Thomann finished sixth Saturday with a 340.70 score.
