Here are excerpts from the speech that U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan is expected to deliver Saturday morning after being chosen as the running mate for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. ____________________________________ Mitt Romney is a leader with the skills, the background and the character that our country needs at a crucial time in its history.
