Hamilton High School graduate Kam Cerroni might be the best college basketball free throw shooter in the nation. You won’t find the UW-Green Bay junior’s name among the NCAA Division I rankings, because he doesn’t have enough made shots to qualify. But at 32-for-33 this season, he’s at 97.0 percent, which would be No. 1 in the country. A player needs 2.5 makes per game to be on the list. The only miss this season was against Illinois-Chicago on Jan. 12, and it broke his school-record streak of 40 consecutive made free throws. In his career, Cerroni is 70 of 79 (.886) at the line.
