A 43-year-old Waukesha man is accused of robbing a Town of Lisbon gas station with a sawed-off shotgun Feb. 23, 2012, according to a criminal complaint filed Wednesday in Waukesha County Circuit Court. Gustavo Valdez was charged Wednesday with armed robbery. He faces up to 27 years in prison and $100,000 in fines if convicted. Valdez is scheduled to be in court Friday for an initial appearance. Valdez has past criminal convictions, including an incident last year that ended in him getting tasered four times in Waukesha after barricading himself in a shed with a pitbull and a knife. Waukesha County Sheriff's Department responded to a complaint of loud noise at a Town of Lisbon home and found an underage drinking party, according to a criminal complaint.
Brownies are among traditional party treats and – without a secret ingredient – only cause concern for a person’s waistline. But for deputies responding to a report of loud noise on Bark Road in the Town of Lisbon, it was that ingredient that caused them concern. Robert J. Meyer, 19, of Eagan, MN, is facing several drug charges after the deputies reported finding marijuana brownies at the home on Nov. 16, according to a criminal complaint. Meyer is charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. If convicted, he faces up to seven months in jail and $1,500 in fines. Town of Lisbon woman reports missing rings, earrings, necklaces and a bracelet, according to a criminal complaint.
A nanny who worked with sisters living in Franklin and the Town of Lisbon is accused of stealing jewelry while working in their homes, according to a criminal complaint filed Monday in Waukesha County Circuit Court. Jillian M. Atkinson, 30, of Lake Mills, is charged with misdemeanor theft. If convicted, she faces up to nine months in jail and a $10,000 fine. According to the complaint: A Franklin woman noticed missing jewelry in August. She contacted her sister living in the Town of Lisbon to share that she believed their shared nanny had taken the jewelry.
