It's your village, so make a difference! The Village Board will be meeting on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the lower-level of Village Hall. The Parks and Recreation Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Sussex Community Center. Items discussed by the board will include the Village Park reconstruction project and potential 2013 park upgrades. The meeting is open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend. The Sussex Hamilton Athletic Booster Club is meeting Monday at 7 p.m. at Hamilton High School to talk over new and continuing projects they've been working on, like the new score boards. The Sussex Recreation Department would like to spark a new interest in a Friends of Sussex Parks and Recreation group. The group will begin operating for charitable, educational and benevolent purposes. During the last meeting, the commmittee discussed safety solutions for the Ivy Avenue and Pewaukee Road intersection, as well as various stormwater projects. This meeting's agenda outlines details at the Glen at Seven Stones, among other projects. Sussex's Finance & Personnel Committee is meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Village Hall's lower leve.
