Police Reports: Sussex Bowl Brawl & Mother Chokes Daughter

Between a neighbor catching a mother choking her daughter and another drunken fight at Sussex Bowl, this is a list of last week's most interesting police reports in Sussex.

Monday, June 18 at 3:54 p.m. Police were called to a home on the W246N6600 block of Pewaukee Road Monday after a neighbor noticed a mother and daughter in a physical fight on their doorstep. The 14-year-old daughter allegedly got in a fight with her mother over finances and threw a water bottle at her mother’s head. When the daughter stormed out, the mother caught her and began choking her near the front door. That’s when the neighbor called police. No charges were filed, and the daughter was directed into her father’s custody.  Monday, June 18 at 4:06 p.m. A homeowner living on the W233N5800 block of Aster Drive noticed something was missing Monday: three blank checkbooks. Uncontrollable Sussex Woman Arrested After Losing Cell Phone

Suspect, 22, begins screaming, then lays under a pool table at Tailgator's until police are called where she causes even further problems.

A 22-year-old Sussex woman is facing charges after she allegedly barged into a closed tavern, began to scream hysterically and hide under a pool table because she lost her cell phone while out drinking with her aunt. Holly A. Grass was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Monday with one count of disorderly conduct and one count of resisting an officer. If convicted, she faces up to one year in prison and $11,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: At 2:30 a.m. Monday, an employee at Tailgator’s Bar was taking out the trash after the tavern closed when Grass entered through an unlocked back door and began screaming at another woman.
