LongHorn Steakhouse is expected to open its third Wisconsin location this month at the old Leath Furniture location near Southridge Mall in Greendale. The restaurant will be next to the future Panda Express and will seat more than 200 people. Patch, Starbucks Aim to Avert 'Fiscal Cliff'

The two companies have joined forces to urge Congress to “Come Together” before tax hikes and spending cuts push America over the “fiscal cliff.”

As Congress and President Barack Obama attempt to hash out differences to stop America from falling over the “fiscal cliff,” Patch and Starbucks are teaming up to urge Republicans and Democrats to “come together.” The two companies are working together to make sure Congress gets the message America wants a viable solution to the country’s financial woes. The so-called "fiscal cliff" encompasses all of the budget cuts and tax hikes that will automatically kick in if Congress doesn’t take action before Jan. 1. Some economists say the automatic changes will push the country into another recession. Snag a Free Drink at Starbucks On Friday

Swing by the Sussex Starbucks on Main Street between noon and 3 p.m. to pick up a 12-ounce Cool Lime or Very Berry Hibiscus drink.

Here's two fabulous words for a summer day: free and Starbucks. The coffee giant will be offering a free tall (12-ounce) Refreshers beverage from noon to 3 p.m. on Friday. The flavors are Cool Lime, which includes real lime, and Very Berry Hibiscus, which features whole blackberries. And with an 95-degree day forecast in Sussex Friday, a cool beverage will surely hit the spot. The only Starbucks in Sussex is on Main Street right by Pick 'n Save and Culver's.  There is a limit of one drink per person, and it is available while supplies last.

Starbucks to Give Free Coffee on Fourth of July

To spark conversation about changing America’s “national spirit,” the coffee giant will be handing out free drinks on Independence Day.

In a full-page ad in major Sunday newspapers, Starbucks CEO Harold Schultz said Starbucks will be handing out free cups of coffee on the Fourth of July, and for a good reason. The ad titled “How Can America Win This Election?” talks of the country’s dwindling national spirit and political divide. Half-price drinks between 3-5 p.m. and a new Chocolate Cookie Crumble flavor? Yes!

When it's warm out, there's nothing better than strolling around with a frothy beverage. And with the recent string of outstanding weather Sussex has been having, this new and local deal is coming at the perfect time. Starbucks is launching its annual Happy Hour on Friday, where Frappuccinos are half-price between 3-5 p.m. through May 13. That means you can get one of the blended beverages for as little as $2. PHOTOS: Sussex Starbucks Gets a Makeover

Just in time for the summer weather, Starbucks gets new indoor and outdoor furniture and new decor to liven up Sussex's only coffee shop.

Have you been to the Sussex Starbucks lately? In the past week, Sussex's only coffee shop underwent a complete makeover. Everything from the indoor tables and chairs to the outdoor patio set has been replaced with new fixtures. The indoor furniture is made of "recycled urban wood," and the outdoor space now has a couch. Starbucks even got all new sun umbrellas for the patio, a much-needed improvement it was lacking on March's 90 degree days. Coffee Lovers Rejoice: Buy One, Get One at Starbucks

The coffee giant is offering two holiday drinks for the price of one from Thursday through Sunday.

Did you know that Americans consume 400 million cups of coffee each day? According to CoffeeStatistics.com, that’s the equivalent of 146 billion cups a year. Starbucks is making the holiday season a little brighter for all those coffee lovers with a special BOGO deal. From 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday, Starbucks patrons will get a second free holiday beverage when they buy the first one. The BOGO deal is good on several holiday drinks, including the peppermint mocha in regular and “skinny” versions, caramel brulée latte, ginger bread latter and the company’s standing holiday tradition, the eggnog latte.
