'Merry Christmas, !*&@#' Note Accompanies Slashed Tires

A 61-year-old Sussex man is accused of slashing a car's tires and leaving a note saying "Merry Christmas" when another driver "steals" his parking spot in Pewaukee, according to a criminal complaint.

A parking spot dispute two days before Christmas left a Costco customer with flat tires and a note reading "Merry Christmas, (expletive)." Thomas V. Boese, 61, Sussex, was charged Wednesday in Waukesha County Circuit Court with disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property. If convicted, he faces up to a year in jail and $11,000 in fines. The charges stem from a parking spot dispute two days before Christmas, according to a criminal complaint. Pewaukee police were called to Costco, 443 Pewaukee Road, after someone reported a dispute between two customers. Store employees identified Boese as the suspect. Pewaukee police officer busts an area man driving drunk after he recognizes the suspect's car and knows he doesn't have a license.

A 26-year-old Sussex man is facing multiple charges after he was caught allegedly driving drunk after a Pewaukee police officer recognized his car from past run-ins. Ryan M. Groth was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Tuesday with one count of third offense operating while intoxicated, one count of bail jumping and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. If convicted, he faces up to two years in prison and $12,500 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: At 12:16 a.m. Tuesday, a Pewaukee police officer was on patrol near Wisconsin Avenue and Ryan Street when he spotted Groth driving by.
