Students in the Hamilton Drama Department are frantically putting the finishing touches on their latest work of art during the last few days of rehearsal before the big show. As the actors take their places and recite their lines, crew members continue to paint, screw and saw to ensure every detail is perfect for opening night on Thursday. The show runs Thursday through Saturday at 7 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Hamilton Fine Arts Center. The spring play is called “Any Number Can Die,” and it’s described as a hilarious take off on the mystery plays of the twenties complete with sliding panels, robed figures, wills being read at midnight and more. Four ingenious murders take place in an island mansion as a pair of elderly detectives …

Regional Solo and Ensemble Festival also provides young artists with feedback on how to improve.
