Love is in the air and Patch is here to help share those fuzzy feelings on the interwebs. Take a look at all the great comments shared about these couples and just who took the title, Patch's Cutest Couple.
Brad Rosenbaum and Jenny Sproehlich of Menomonee Falls will enjoy dinner at a Port Washington restuarant after winning Patch's Cutest Couple Valentine's Day contest. The 15 Patch sites in southeastern Wisconsin invited couples to post their photos online and asked readers to vote on their favorites. We received more than 70 nominations of couple of all ages, and more than 100 votes. Brad and Jenny earned 25 votes to take home the prize: a $40 gift card for a romantic dinner donated by The Pasta Shoppe in Port Washington. As Brad explained, that restaurant has special meaning for the couple: Jenny and I first met at the Pasta Shoppe, which is way too big of a coincidence for this contest! Vote for me and I....promise not to bring politics …

Continental Properties is proposing a large development in the parking lot of Riversbend Golf Club in Germantown that would accomodate the two franchises.
Rejoice Menomonee Falls. It’s been confirmed. Olive Garden is looking to build a restaurant in our backyard. Premonitions about potential Olive Garden developments have tumbled around in the Falls rumor mill for years. And as it says in a pretty popular book, “Speak, and it shall be done.” Continental Properties is proposing a substantial development in the parking lot of Riversbend Golf Club on County Line Road in Germantown. The development would include an Olive Garden and a Buffalo Wild Wings franchise. To accommodate the new restaurants, Riversbend would also tear down its existing clubhouse, and construct a new one just west of its current location. Germantown planning staff is are reviewing the proposal, and they expect it will …

Sakura Sushi and Grill will open in spring within the North Pointe shopping center on Appleton Avenue.
Menomonee Falls is home to Chinese, Mexican, Italian, American and Greek cuisine. Now, residents will soon add Japanese cuisine to their international choices. Chun Yeung, of Fond du Lac, plans to open Sakura Sushi and Grill in spring 2013 inside the North Pointe Centre across from Menomonee Falls High School at N78W14565 Appleton Ave. Yeung has over 10 years of experience in the Japanese restaurant business. He opened his first restaurant in 2000 in Fond du Lac, but closed that location to tend to family matters back in Hong Kong. He got his start working for his parents in 1996. After a few years out of the country, Yeung is back in the states and is excited to start business in Falls. “We did surveying and population studies, and we …

The fourth installment to the Border Wars series documents the recent tilt between Hamilton and Menomonee Falls.
Menomonee Falls took vengeance on the 2nd ranked Hamilton Chargers after they placed their flag in the middle of Menomonee Falls field before the game started. The Indians (3-2, 3-1 Greater Metro) put an end to the Chargers' (4-1, 3-1 Greater Metro) perfect season with a dose of hard-hitting defense, and tough running. From the start, it was clear the energy and significance of the match up wasn't lost on the boys in burgundy and grey. Beyond the three turnovers, the Chargers will likely leave Schumann Stadium with a soured onside kick memory. Menomonee Fall's Justin Clough produces another jaw-dropping video that documents all of the action.

With the help of $62.5 million in tax credits from the state, Kohl's announced Thursday that it will move forward with its expansion project and stay in Menomonee Falls.
Note: This story has been updated at 3:09 p.m. to include comments from Waukesha One of the biggest development questions hanging over Menomonee Falls was whether Kohl’s headquarters would stay in Falls and expand or grow elsewhere. Governor Scott Walker and Kohl's CEO Kevin Mansell on Thursday announced that the company won’t be going anywhere – and the state is going to help. Walker said the state would provide $62.5 million in tax credits to support long-term growth at Kohl’s in an agreement forged between the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation and the national retailer. The number of tax credits received by Kohl’s will depend upon the number of jobs the company creates and its capital expenditures. Kohl's plans to add 3,000 …
