Future's Bright For Young History Scholars

Four students will advance to the regional competition of the National History Bee, and one is looking to head back to the national competition where he finished in second place.

Knowing the past has opened a great opportunity in the future for four Templeton Middle School Students.  Four Templeton students will advance to the regional competition of the National History Bee. Students who will advance are eighth-graders Blake Batzko, Maxwell Cavadel and Dominic Pino; and seventh-grader Andrew Tai.  Sussex has a - history - of performing well in the bee. Last year, as seventh-grader, Pino placed second in the first ever Middle School National History Bee. He'll be seeking the top spot in the nation this year.  The students received the highest scores on the written schoolwide Intramural Bee that covered U.S., world and modern history topics.
