Registration for Drivers Ed Under Way at Hamilton
The deadline is Jan. 19, and students must be 16 years old.

Registration for Hamilton High School spring drivers’ education – including theory, simulation and behind-the-wheel – is underway. Completed forms with the $350 in fees will be accepted at the high school office during school hours or by mail before Jan. 19. Students who will be 16 years old by Aug. 31, 2012 are eligible to enroll in all three phases of the program. The theory phase begins on Jan. 31 and includes 15 two-hour classes that begin at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The theory phase covers the Motorist Manual, rules of the road, seat belts, insurance, car ownership and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The …
