A 45-year-old Sussex woman is accused of telling her husband she was going to stab him while he was sleeping, before pulling down a shower curtain and throwing his clothes all over the closet, according to a criminal complaint. The woman, who Sussex Patch is not naming to protect her husband’s identity, faces up to 90 days in jail and $1,000 in fines if convicted of disorderly conduct-domestic abuse. A Sussex teenager, 18, is accused of standing out of a sunroof of a car and pointing a fake shotgun at another car driving past.
An 18-year-old Sussex man is accused of pointing a fake gun at a man while he was driving through the village. Shane R. Taylor was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Wednesday with one count of disorderly conduct. If convicted, he faces up to 90 days in jail and $1,000 in fines. The man said the threatening texts were sent from an ex-coworker he’d broken up with professionally. Police are still investigating. Circuit Court Judge Linda Van De Water, 48, of Brookfield, appeared today in a Racine County Court to enter a plea for a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge she faces.
