Runaway Sussex Bank Robber Still at Large
The man who robbed Sussex’s associated bank in July is still on the loose, so is there a connection with the Menomonee Falls robbery?
The man who attempted to rob Sussex’s Associated Bank on Main Street in July is still on the loose, the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department said Monday. Detective Steve Pederson says he has faith the man behind the crime will be taken into custody, but refused to comment further. “Detectives are following up on leads, but we’re really not going to say too much else about that,” Pederson said. “The capture rate in finding those responsible for bank robberies – we’re generally pretty successful.” Pederson’s update comes on the heels of an armed bank robbery in Menomonee Falls on Friday where two masked black men made off with an undisclosed amount of money.
