From a serious tip about potential child abuse to a woman who accidentally called the police on herself, these are the most interesting police reports in Sussex this week.
Tuesday, July 31 at 1:04 a.m. Police were called early in the morning last Tuesday after a neighbor found is mailbox smashed. According to the report, two mailboxes in the Centennial Oaks subdivision were bashed in early that Tuesday morning. This most likely is the work of the same immature prankster who completely destroyed 14 mailboxes in the subdivision in early July. Tuesday, July 31 at 9:56 a.m. While the exact address and block will remain confidential until the investigation is complete, Sussex police were called to a home on Pewaukee Road Tuesday after receiving a tip about child abuse in the home.
