Sussex Brothers Earn Eagle Scout Rank on Same Night
Riley and Jacob Feldmann share how they achieved their Eagle Scout title and their plans for the future.
Brothers Riley and Jacob Feldmann celebrated obtaining Eagle Scout rank at an Eagle Scout Court of Honor held at Hamilton High School in Sussex on August 18. The brothers, who are both part of Troop 95 in Sussex, earned the prestigious rank eight months apart from each other. For his Eagle Project, Riley created and ran the group DS4T – Divorce Support for Teens – at Hamilton High School. He realized how many teens are affected by separation and divorce and wanted to offer a place where his peers could come together on a monthly basis to discuss and work through the difficulties separation and divorce presents to teens. Numerous Hamilton High School students participated in DS4T and now have lasting friendships thanks to the program. …

Wow, that's a big accomplishment, Riley and Jacob! I never made it to Eagle Scout myself, but I remember looking at all that had to be done to achieve the honor and thinking that it was a lot of hard work. Glad to see that you made it happen for yourselves! more ›
