The local bar was burglarized Friday morning, but police are staying mum about the details until they discover more details.
Abler's Whiskey Corners, the local bar sitting on the edge of Menomonee Falls and Sussex, was burglarized Friday morning. Multiple Menomonee Falls officers were at the scene gathering evidence, but according to Lt. Chad Miller of the Menomonee Falls Police Department, its too early to release any information about the burglary. "Yes, there was a burglary this morning," Miller said. "I can't say anything else because it's still in the early stages of the investigation. We'll probably be able to release more information sometime next week." The long awaited new restaurant has quietly opened its doors with a grand opening celebration slated for the near future.
It was approved by the Village Board in June, owners were interviewed by Patch in July and rumors of plans to open in August proved false. But now, Boneyard Pub & Grille has finally opened its doors to customers. The restaurant first had a soft opening on Nov. 16 to work out all the kinks, and then officially opened its doors on Black Friday to customers. While no grand opening has been planned, the business says one is still in the works. A grand opening, however, hasn’t stopped eager customers from noticing the restaurant opened.
