Volunteer Needs Urgent at Senior Dining Sites
Aging and Disability Resource Center of Waukesha County is seeking help to continue operating programs that bring meals to seniors.
The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Waukesha County has some real needs for volunteers, and Volunteer Program Coordinator Chris Rodriguez is hoping that some area residents will step forward. Without the support of the hundreds of volunteers that help with the senior dining centers and home-delivered meal program, “it would not exist,” Rodriguez said about the programs. Volunteers help set up the meals, serve the food and clean up after the meals. They also pack up lunches for seniors at their homes. The drivers then take the meals to the homes.
