The seven-member Hamilton Board of Education includes two at-large seats elected from any location in the district, with one representative each from the Village of Sussex, Village of Lannon, Village of Butler, Village of Menomonee Falls and Town of Lisbon. The body meets in regular session on the third Monday of each month in offices adjacent to Hamilton High School. In 2010, the Hamilton School District was named "Government of the Year" in Waukesha County.
