Momentum, a child…More care center, before and after school care service and summer day camp, employs highly trained teachers and early childhood specialists who encourage learning and exploration in the children they oversee.</p> <p>Momentum's interior is welcoming, with bright colors and large windows, and includes a private, fenced-in playground with new equipment. Parents can even check in on their children throughout the day via webcams set up in each room.</p> <p>Ms. Julie, the director, comes to us with 8 years of experience working with children, 3 of those years were as a Center Director of a large corporate child care company. Much of Julie’s experience with children comes from working with children with Autism, mental health disabilities and behavioral issues. Julie is a great resource for our teachers and families.</p> <p>Also, Momentum is currently enrolling for Camp Velocity, a summer day camp that starts in June. From creepy science projects to exciting day trips, Camp Velocity has something for everyone! Academically competitive with the strongest school systems in the state, the Hamilton School District has been led since…More 1993 by superintendent Kathleen Cooke, Ph.D. Cooke began her education career as an elementary teacher in 1979 in the Oconomowoc School District, became an elementary principal, then middle school principal and served two years as Director of Human Resources before being named to the Oconomowoc School District's leadership team in 1992-93 as Assistant Superintendent. The seven-member Hamilton Board of Education includes two at-large seats elected from any location in the district, with one representative each from the Village of Sussex, Village of Lannon, Village of Butler, Village of Menomonee Falls and Town of Lisbon. The body meets in regular session on the third Monday of each month in offices adjacent to Hamilton High School. In 2010, the Hamilton School District was named "Government of the Year" in Waukesha County.
